Her Story
From Bride to Planner: Taia’s Journey✨
Taia’s passion for weddings began with watching shows like My Fair Wedding by David Tutera and Four Weddings every day after high school. She would mock-plan and critique each wedding as if she were the planner or bride herself. By the time she planned her own wedding in 2018, Taia was already a pro at all things weddings!
While planning her wedding, Taia and her husband, Ant, quickly realized the importance of having a day-of coordinator. Managing vendors and venue staff was overwhelming, making it hard for them to fully enjoy their special day. This experience sparked Taia’s desire to create a wedding planning business that ensures couples can relish every moment.
Driven by her passion, Taia immersed herself in the wedding and events industry. She not only continued to watch wedding shows and listen to podcasts but also took a bold step by going back to school in 2022. Classes in Customer Relationship Management, Hotel Management, Service Management, Marketing, Accounting, and Special Events, along with an internship at Events of Joy, equipped her with the skills to start her own business.
In May 2024, Taia graduated with an Associate’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and now continues to build her expertise as an Event Assistant at Events of Joy. Her mission is clear: to create a seamless and stress-free wedding planning process for couples, ensuring their special day is as magical as they envision.
